At the moment there is no easy way to save and reuse map scripts.

As it is not possible to have two filters open at the same time it is not possible to do a simple cut and paste. It is necessary to close the current filter, open another, copy the desired map script, close the filter, open the original filter and paste the map script. All of which is a bit of a hassle.

It would be most helpful to be able to name and save individual map scripts to disk and to be able to import them into a filter under construction as building blocks.

You can copy the script to a txt file.

Sorry, but I fail to see how as the input controls associated with the code which are an integral part of the map script are not copied using this technique.

Well, you can copy/paste the script with all the controls directly from the filter's .ffxml file smile:)
I know it's cumbersome but I doubt that script import-export will be a high-priority feature to implement.

On that note, it would be pretty cool to have a system where you could submit map scripts and snippets as components that could be used from a library.
