I've just started using FF2, and I immediately wished I could use a keystroke like PgDown for "next filter" and PgUp for "previous filter."

And of course RightArrow for "next preset" and LeftArrow for "previous preset."

I couldn't find any such shortcuts in the docs, but as a newbie I could have missed something. It doesn't look like there's much going on with keyboard shortcuts, actually...

Cheers,

Allen

I am sorry, but I do not understand what you mean and want you want.

Do you mean to have a shortcut for choosing the next or previous available filter from the list of filters that you have without having to choose it from the list?

For the preset is more easy to understand and as this is pretty easy which is the previous and next filter preset inside one filter.

Yes, I'd like to have these keyboard shortcuts for quickly scanning through filters:

RightArrow = next filter preset
LeftArrow = previous filter preset

PageDown = next filter
PageUp = previous filter

The next/previous filter shortcuts should also automatically move to the next/previous category when the last/first filter in the current category has been reached.

These key commands would make it a lot more convenient to "survey" dozens of new filters and presets than having to scroll and click on the lists at the left side of the display.

Of course, as has been requested elsewhere, a more complete system for organizing filters (and presets) would help as well. Along with the ability to create additional categories.

i find the scroll wheel works just fine for next and previous filter and seems faster to me than using a manual key on the keyboard and the same is true for the presets, since that scrolls with the mousewheel, also. however, i do understand some folks like a keyboard with one hand and the mouse on another and some like one hand on keyboard and the other, too. so, you want what you want and that's fine. i'm just saying that, for me, the mouse works just fine and i'd rather see the shortcut keys used in a better way (again, for me smile:)

The scroll wheel is also good, but usually my right hand is holding my Wacom stylus. My left hand is usually dealing with shifts and f-keys, so a single keystroke is always desirable for quick access to things.
