A little metadata...

I find that it's next to impossible to recall what filter & preset was used on an output file, especially when building tons of them to compare variations on certain features or effects.

Of course, I could come up with a ponderous scheme for file naming, but I'd much prefer an automatic feature to take care of this issue:

I'd love to see 3.0 contain an option to save certain info into the output file's metadata (assuming one has chosen a format that supports metadata). The most important datum would be the filter and preset used for that image. It would also be helpful if the user could specify contents for some additional standard EXIF field, or at least a prefix for whatever field the filter and preset info is stored in. In the simplest scenario, FF3 could just append to the Comment field.
