As an example doing textures for modern 3d games
you might need
diffuse
specular
height
normal map
it would be nice if you could add check mark boxes in the filter to automatically generate all theese so that would save the end user time doing each stage one at a time
or to be able to do sequential stages in a texture
as an example
you might use 5 normals to do animated displacement in your games texture or dynamic speculosity
I tend to use heightmaps for this with math to adjust the intensity but using normals is way supperior in the end result and with the size of current games and mods an additional 15mb in normal maps isnt to ridiculous
or lets say you just want to set up a simple filter that allows the end user to create a bouncing ball again this ability to do multiple stages or frames would be invaluable for this cappacity (and yes I realize just how much Im asking but I figured might as well toss the idea out )
