There are 989 very cool filters currently available and I don't have anywhere near that many installed (current beta). Clicking the "Download more filters" link merely takes you to the website.
Is it possible to download all of the filters at once, without having to manually look at each one's page? If any of the currently installed filters have been updated, these can be selected from the list and download all at once. I am hoping for a similar option for the general library of not yet installed filters. Thanks! Digital imaging blog & software discounts

You can switch to the built-in browser and download all the filters from there. Go to Tools > Options > Online, switch to the built-in browser (the old-style download button will appear instead of the link), and download everything you want. |

Tools > Filter Updates... You can mass-download the filter updates. When one or more of the filters you downloaded are updated, Filter Forge will notify you. |

That's it!! All it lacks is an accurate download progress bar, but the ease of gathering all available filters outweighs any mystery.
Thanks! (oink oink!) PS: Where are the downloaded filters stored (for backup purposes)? I dug around the Filter Forge folder but didn't see anything obvious. Digital imaging blog & software discounts

The path is as follows: C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application Data\Filter Forge To get there quick, open Filter Forge and press Ctrl+L (or click Filter > Locate File from the menu) -- this will lead you to the location of the Filter Storage. |

A decade later I just had this question again and the solution still seems to be the same
![]() A related question: On Mac there are two places where filters seem to reside: 1) Applications>Filter Forge 5>Resources>System>Library 2) User>Library>Application Support>Filter Forge 5>System>Library New filter downloads automatically go into the second folder (as Vladimir says above). So, what is folder #1 for? Do I need a complete set in both folders, or just #2? I want to keep the folder backed up elsewhere to avoid re-downloading the haul for each new version of FF.
