Filter Forge - What your computer's favorite error message?

McGyver What is a user title? Posts: 111 Filters: 10	Lately my computer has been going on and on about:" FILTER FORGE Initial data download failed. Reason: 'get_families_versions_list() failed.'." As cool and trendy as this may sound, I feel it's getting really old and annoying. Well, the good thing is that after a day or two it usually forgets about that and just downloads the filters I asked it to... What a wacky and free-spirited piece of machinery! I find the this error message lacking though... it seems very "broad"... too general and cold. I feel "Initial data download failed. Reason: 'You need that filter now and getting it would make your life too easy.'." or perhaps... "Initial data download failed. Reason: 'Me and the server hate you stupid humans.'." I feel at least that would be more to the point. So anyone else sick of that one too?... I KNOW I AM.

jffe Posts: 2869 Filters: 90	Nothing so clever, it just BSOD's me if I empty the trash can while listening to music or if a video is playing. Some kind of Norton-protected-file-error-glitch. I wish it would error/crash 15-20 minutes into a 2+ hour time wasting session of graphics/music/movie watching/anything though ha-ha. jffe Filter Forger
