Can You Remove Lighting?

If you open a filter that has a preset lighting to a missing file, FF just assigns it one that is in the folder (with a message stating this). FF seems to work fine with just one lighting environment in the folder as far as I can tell. Then I put the files back and after restarting FF, everything seemed fine like before.

JPG to EXR library
... recall if i tried to do this before, so, there may be an old thread out there with something similar to this. what i'd like to do here is start a collection of .jpg's that folks have actually used to make .exr's which they then imported into the lighting environment.
the reason for this is that it's not very practical for FF to allow custom lighting environments (LE) to be uploaded into the library. the biggest barrier to that is copyrights. someone slips in a copyrighted image made into an LE and ...
Using Lua Profiler - is it possible?
... nothing prevents you from implementing a standalone Lua program with some code calling the prepare() and get_sample() functions, say, while traversing pixels of a bitmap. This setup lets you profile scripts outside of FF. To better emulate FF execution environment, make sure you're executing Lua with debug hooks turned on, and without LuaJIT.

Simple Batch Rendering
Author: Igor Lorents. Actually, we do have an internal command-line render utility. Not sure our QA dept has ever seen it :D but it works pretty well while it is in the debug environment :D
Anyway, it doesn't have any interface to provide ranges for controls' values, nor rules to control interpolation within that range. And I'm not sure it will ever have features like that. And of course no key-frames.

1) Look at some actual pictures of what you're trying to make.
2) Use a reflection map particularly made for it. Make an HDRI that looks like what you want to reflect, and then load that into FF as a new environment.
3) Tilt the shards ever so slightly.

Exr Files
Author: Kraellin. here's a thought; since it's possible to simply change a .jpg to an .exr by simply changing the extension in windows explorer and that that then makes it possible to import this former, but still really a .jpg into FF as a lighting environment, why not just allow a direct import of .jpg's (and maybe even other file formats) into the HDRI import function? seems a simple enough thing.

That was an oversight - thanks for bringing it to my attention. Apparently whatever ThreeDee is doing with the 'Proportional Gradient' snippet changes the distance between the image plane and the environment - and I thought I didn't understand it before. :| I will back off on the HDRI brightness and resubmit. I will hold off a couple of days in case someone else catches something I can fix. :)

In order to save space and extend the lifespan of my SSD, I have made the following changes (win 10/11)
