Author: GMM. Sphinx, I guess you use Google Chrome? It looks like an issue with Chrome, please try Firefox or Opera — they display the text in normal size.

Author: CorvusCroax. Most people just put some credit in the text of the filter description: 'Based off of X' or 'Props to Y for their help with this part' etc. It's just good manners.

FF helper applications, creating/editing FFXML externally
... assume based on the various ffbatch and ffcat apps that this is possible. Does anyone have experience in making (or editing) FFXML externally and opening it back in FF successfully? Any known problems or limitations?
My two current ideas are:
1) Text input helper app, which would enable one to input a line of text. The app would create a filter (ffxml file that you can open into FF as a filter) from which you could copy the Bezier Curve Control information that would hold the ASCII codes of the ...

Vlad considers vectors, text, fractals, etc to be things done by other programs outside of FF...and therefore no need to incorporate them in FF... I suggested vector, text, and fractals years ago here...and that was the answer that I got...

Filter Forge 3.0 and multiple image support

For all unmapped controls (HDR/LDR colors and HDR/LDR grayscales) we'll just show the thumbnail, the text (the name of the loaded image, layer or stock preview pic) and the menu triangle.

Other ideas could be a 'Title' UI control that would simply allow a title instead of the line for separation ie "Tiling Components" and a "Help" UI component so that a user could add an option blob of text to a set of controls that would show a '?' Help icon and when hover show text. ie "Use these controls to change the orientation of the overlay pattern."
I imagine these controls could be light weight enough to not bog down the filter ...

What you're requesting here is a text autoreplacement tool. Don't you think this is beyond the Filter Forge scope? You can easily google up some tools that allow you to automate such kind of tasks. "

Don't read the text -- it's far from final.
Look at the structure.
Use selections to fill the inside of Fonts with Filter Forge textures
... example.
As you can make a selection on photoshop and then apply the filter effects to ONLY the inside of that selection, so WHY do not use this to fill the inside of any font that you may like with FF textures ?
For this you only have to type the text in Photoshop, and then make the selection of that text, so it encloses the content of the font you have choosen to use. Then you only have to activate FF plugin and choose the filter texture that you want.
The great difference than making this ...
