... and the uniqueness is invaluable! Thanks for all your hard work on this, SpaceRay! I know I'll be spending quite a lot of time creating fascinating art with it! Filters like this are why I use Filter Forge so much!!! (As you can tell by all the exclamation points, I am VERY excited about using this filter!!! )

  • LEARNING I - First steps by ALZHEM
... is a good idea. I am a beginner...some of the forum threads make my head spin! I don't have a clue what they're talking about, but I want to learn. I am especially interested in learning what can be connected where. I often find that annoying red exclamation point showing up. I'm looking forward to "Lesson #2" Thank you, Donna :)

  • X-Ray by Carl
... filters! I am at work and can not download this one; would you mind putting a sample pick of something besides the life saver, like a mountain or flower. Also note that you barely submitted this and it already has 90+ downloads!!!! Holy Cow!!!! More exclamation marks!!!! :D

  • What should I do???
Author: Redcap. Ahhhh, I want high usages; I really do... But I don't want these filters to be cheapened!!!! Dilema!!!! Unnecassry exclamation marks!!!! :) I think I answered my own question. If I want high usage I put the two together (assuming the filter would get high usage...), if I want to make filters that are easier to use I do separate; so because I try and put FF interests ...

  • Downloading filters
Author: rilos. @Firemup: its not that the filter isnt correct (no exclamation mark etc.) but I cant connect to the filter library due to connection problems. @Vlad: now I tried the connection from home (I use zonealarm there and changed the settings so that it allows ff to connect to the web. Now I get a different ...

  • FF crashes when submitting a Filter to the Library
Author: WarpZone. I don't think so. If I was, it would have been something like an exclamation mark or a semicolon. Nothing weird. I wasn't putting in graphic symbols or anything. Just regular text and punctuation. Anyway, whatever symbols I do enter, they eventually do go through, just on the next attempt. I never lose my ...

  • Control components into switch components
... feature. you can plug control components into the green switches just fine and they'll work as normal. you can plug both intsliders and sliders in and no problem. however, if you use the curve ops switch and try to plug a slider into it you get the red exclamation point marker and if you plug an intslider into a curve ops switch it will only allow a setting of '1' and will not slide any further. again, maybe there is a good reason for this, so i dont really know if it's a bug. just seemed a bit odd ...

  • Errors in Entered Data Dialog Stays After Errors are Fixed
Author: jitspoe. I just started tinkering with the map script, and I tried to set the minimum value of an integer input to 0. It popped up a bubble that said "- Must be between 1 and 2^32-2." I changed the value back to 1, but the exclamation icon stayed next to the control input on the "Control Inputs" list, and when I click "OK", it states, "There are errors in entered data (denoted by red warning signs). All errors must be fixed before proceeding." ...

  • LAB#3015 Skybase
Author: Skybase. "Those look heavily affected, is there an "Effect" slider that tones it down (the whole effect)? Exclamation Better yet, you should make a time line slider. 1960-2010. Cool" Yeah, Dry - Wet slider! Though I kinda had a guilty feeling that it defies the purpose of what the filter is supposed to do. Oh well, might as well add it in cuase ...

  • 3d glasses anyone
... heard it in. so, if it doesnt make any difference between the blue and the green, dont be too surprised Smile" hehe OK.. :) "Betis wrote: CF I would love a pair if you don't mind me redirecting the offer Wink Big grin Seriously Exclamation" Nope I don't mind at all.. :) Just give me a email of where to send them out...Mind you there is some cutting involved.. :| When I got them they came in a sheet of 4 pairs..I just mail out the sheet because I am to lazy to cut....

  • Submitting - Problem Found!
... will work". So, once "that will work", wouldn't It allow us to send the filter? I mean, could you take out this warning and allow to upload even using a wrong control or there is no way to separate what is wrong control to other wrong exclamation situations? Well, ok I got to change the slider and send, but I think sometimes changing the slider will result in the different expected result. Cheers

  • For Rod_D_How do you make the PHF Photofonts ?
... and run the installer. You would of course always have to name the image glyphs the same or edit the PHF. :) For instance my TEST phf uses A.png = glyph A a.png = glyph a and so on (all symbols are of course written out). comma.png = , glyph exclamation.png = ! glyph Give me time.I have gotten it to install the test PHF but i am still working on image reference. If the images are referenced they need not be embedded. I believe it has to do with this tag within the xml/phf So PhotoFont ...

  • Can't even start!
... uninstall and reinstall FF and try it again. then turn your anti-virus back on. you might also try downloading FF again just to make sure you got a complete download. you might also check device manager and make sure you have no yellow question marks or exclamation points next to any devices. this could cause software failures also. also, make sure you dont have two firewalls running at the same time, like microsoft's service pack 2 firewall and something else.

  • For Rod_D_How do you make the PHF Photofonts ?
... you created do this... Open them all in your graphics editor as layers. Resize them all at one time to 640 high x 480 wide. Now save each layer as a separate PNG image. They must be named according to what they are A.png B.png C.png D.png exclam.png period.png question.png comma.png ... and so forth small letters if you make any will go in the nonCaps folder and be named a.png b.png c.png and so forth Open the PSPPI-README and look at the image id map i placed at the bottom ...

  • Projective Transform (Four point transform)
... concave polygon.. " I see. Then contraining the points might be a good idea. It is not all that important, more of a cosmetic handling. Now that we've gone there: should there be some way of indicating when the points are clipped? Such as a red exclamation point at the corner (which you can turn off)? That's just a thought. In the big picture, it's irrelevant for the basic function of the filter, which is a fantastic piece of work.

  • a little help
Author: jffe. "Skaara wrote: a question tto jffe: when i change it to surface all i get is a purple box with an exclamation point in it and the render time increases dramatically. also the finla render doesnt even show my original filter. is there anything im doing wrong?" ----You just plug your design or whatever into the purple box (Surface Color), and ...

  • ???? Group copy ????
... is surely a reason for these errors, but I don't get it. Some groups, once copied in another filter, appear completely changed. Other Groups were ok in the first filter and, once copied in the second, they show an error ( the red circle with exclamation mark ) even before to connect them to the new filter. Sincerely, because they are from my own filters, I can say that I didn't apply any setting that I didn't know how to control. I don't understand why they change. They are Groups that ...

  • Noise Lab
... transpires! - Experiment! Many interesting complex noises are happy accidents! - Save interesting results (even if intermediary) in their own filter file. You never know when you might need them. That should do for now. Besides, I've used up all my exclamation marks for the day. Let's see some images... :D
