Render selected area at full resolution?
... "zoom" in on and set as new bounds for a higher resolution render of a different area within the "out of bounds" region.
There's something like this in the layout feature of World Machine, where you can "roam" over the infinite fractal plane and set new bounds at different world coordinates. So, this functionality would be a combination "dolly" and "zoom" capability similar to what you find in most fractal explorers.
I think that would be really handy....

... accelerator into the program...being that it is procedural...but I imagine that would take some serious programming and $$$ to do... I'm just going for the much-needed simple stuff that FF has ignored for too long... :|
Vlad considers vectors, text, fractals, etc to be things done by other programs outside of FF...and therefore no need to incorporate them in FF... I suggested vector, text, and fractals years ago here...and that was the answer that I got...

Fractals by Bomber
... very nice looking results, but I like the filigran look of a higher number of iterations.
I did one render of a simple black ankh on a white background. I really like the result, despite the fact that an ankh may not be the best image for a bomber fractal:

There are some odd shadows around it that look like a semi-transparent square shape peeking through, but they could be removed easily with a program like Photoshop.
