  • New Tutorial: FilterForge to a 3D app
Author: Skybase. If anything: somebody should donate me a couple bucks and I can upgrade my vimeo account to pro. So I can display those tutorials at a higher resolution.

  • Carl's Corner :)
Author: Beliria. thing is Blender is supported for sculpt maps unlike TS, mind wiki SL has a list of tutorials for Blender with the software info http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Sculpted_Prims:_3d_Software_Guide#Blender

  • Carl's Corner :)
Author: ronviers. "Beliria wrote: FF, PS, PSP, Office, Gimp, XenoDreams, Second life, Vue 6 easle, vue 6 studio, vue 6 xstream (last 3 are demo/tutorial packages), Terragen, and a few more."

  • Helpful Info
Author: Crapadilla. "onnetz wrote: is there a thread with helpful or tutorial links on all the components?" The help wiki (http://www.filterforge.com/helpwiki/index.php/Components) might be a good place to start... ;)

  • My first texture and a FF tutorial
Author: Vladimir Golovin. If I'm not mistaken, this is the first 3rd-party tutorial for Filter Forge (and we're not even commercially released!) -- thank you Enrique, keep them coming!

  • Carl's Corner :)
... create them if I wanted to..... I'm still looking into the possibility of 'linking' AutoCad to TS.....would be so sweet to bypass the conversion without any loss of data..... In regard to Blender.....I read that it lacks good help and tutorials......and that you can go to TouTube and get some user video tutorials that are pretty good. All in all, people say that blender has a steep learning curve......which is why I'm hesitant to look at it if it is covered by TS.....

  • Making Render Maps
Author: Skybase. I made a tutorial along the lines. This one uses Maya but the story's much the same: https://vimeo.com/50422621 Let me know if you still need help.

Author: De234. If you are unable to help me directly, I'd appreciate pointing me in the right direction, possibly to a different filter option or a tutorial video or something. Thanks again,

  • Filter Forge user base and product promotion
Author: CorvusCroax. My two cents: A) Tutorial Videos: IMHO, it would be helpful to Filter Forge to have some basic video tutorials on Lynda.com or Digital Tutors. (I show FF to people in my company frequently and I can just see the fear in their eyes: "Technical" "Art"?...

  • Anybody interested in a loops tutorial?
Author: Dave S. Skybase, I would love a tutorial on looping... I'm getting it figured out, but examples and tut's are greatly welcomed. Us over 50 crowd take a little longer for the light to come on! Dave.

... bunch of people over, I just turn it on and let people play with the OpenGL preview" I wish I had some geeky RL friends like that. :) "CorvusCroax wrote: a) that it needs better support for making looping sequences" I am only one tutorial in to Fusion and I already understand the importance of looping. Author: Skybase. Yes, I use it for live performance. It's very simple to use if you follow the basic tutorials. However for more advanced things, you'll need programming experience. That's ... really about it.
