  • Color Inspector
Author: KGtheway2B. I was surprised to see that this wasn't already included. Haha, you made a big hoopla about the color picker and then it's mostly useless unless you have a pen and pad of paper handy! As for functionality, I think a right click "Copy" hotmenu would be most intuitive.

  • Using Proportional Gradients
... expect for example the Offset component to work the same way as it does for a square image. It doesn't. Let's take the 3 and 5 color gradient matter as an example. If you had a filter that was using a 5-color Gradient to make a "landscape," you ... ... two horizontal ones and the second vertical one -- from the filter, as they are not needed in this particular filter. I simply copied the Ronviers snippet complete.) If you have a filter you are trying to get to work that you are having trouble with,...

... examples (despite good eyesight and a very sharp 21" monitor). I tried a screen magnifier, which only made the blurry names larger, but still unreadable. I figured maybe a 1200 DPI B/W copy would help, and it did in a way (legibility at the cost of color). Still, some of the examples are too small to be rescued even by a B/W printout (Control Components for example). Maybe, in those few cases where you have more than three or four components in an example, you could label them with bolder lettering....

... another craft store. Even at that, let's talk about the example of a scrapbooking paper, you still had to purchase it, and the creators have been compensated for their work. Exchanged value for value. Even with that, you're not allowed to resell it's color copies, and put your own brand on them. You can't purchase a book, and have it re-typeset and reprinted. Even if you leave the authors and original publisher's name on it. However, you can purchase several copies of the book, and sell them to someone ...

  • Landscape by byRo
Author: Lucato. "are those images from a variation you did of Ro's landscape filter and if so, would you post a copy of your filter? " Yup, as I said above, I've added some controls as rain, sun, moon, sky and clouds colors and more land variations. Hey Craig, here goes the file:

  • Debugging Tools for FilterForge
... paste it into a filter which you wish to debug. (NOTE: Don't copy the Debug Simulation Script, it is only added to show how a debugging situation may appear) After inserting the mapscript into your own filter, you may have to make sure that the text color is set to a readable tone, which is done from one of the mapscript controls. Next, plug in the mapscript you want to debug into the [Text Window Mapscript], through the [Map Input], making sure the [Debug Window] checkbox is set. At first,...

  • How To Separate Colors into Layers
... blues be one blue, etc... So I looked at a few ways to accomplish this, but I want to automate the process into an action or filter. In short, I want to create an action that takes all shades of a color and combines them into 1 shade of that main color. Then copies that into its very own layer. Does anyone have an action/filter they want to share or a tool they could suggest. In the end I want a layer for each color: Transparent Red Green Blue Yellow Orange Purple Black White I have been trying ...

Author: SpaceRay. Now I will find a way to be able to apply not only colors to each side but also IMAGES and photos to each side of the cube. And also will see how CFandM have done the masking of the images in his filter and see if this can be copied or applied to the cubes here in some way

I'm assuming that I'm not allowed to package and sell any tiles I create with FF? Even if I spend hours playing with sliders and colors and tweaking the heck out of the filter to make what I want. (I'm good at that. LOL I love playing and getting cool results. If I could do what you creators do, I'd be in heaven! And....well, I wouldn't need a "filter gallery" to pick ...

  • Question about the If component
Author: Sharandra. Well in your example it seems that the first white was 0,9999 rather than 1. Is that what you think causes the trouble? Edit: that can´t be the problem in my case because I copied the color for B and I just checked, they are the same. Well here is my example. If anyone knows what the problem is and could explain it would be cool :-) Edit 2: It actually has to be >= for what I had in mind, but same problem with that.

Author: cfree68. yeah I tried the copy thing but no go.. I tried hacking the xml and it looks pretty identical to v1.8 xml but I can't quiet get it to go. Author: Vladimir Golovin. "Vickery wrote: Using HTML codes, rather than the RGB fields, you just have one number to do each time rather than three." Good point.
