But a little too contrast to be used as a web background ;) Geometric patterns on the background tend to "conflict" with the page text, so I'd recommend to use non-regular, non-geometric stuff for backgrounds, so that it doesn't visually clash with on-page text and tables.

    ... and the script. I agree that out of the existing filters only one can benefit from typography moduls, and that there will be many more filters if/when those moduls are released. I guess what I was trying to say is that for having effects done ON text, you just need to make the text in photoshop and then feed it to FF. But if you want the text to be PART of the effect, you need a typography module in FF.

I have a video tutorial that I created with very basic animated text and how to create the effect in Filter Forge. There is sound on the animated text but not with the tutorial part.     .... Here is an example of the chocolate factory. I modified a copy of the filter and changed it from using an image for the height to a simple perlin noise with a distortion component. Once I had the filter rendered as a pattern I clipped it into my text and added the 3d effect. The really nice thing is the text is still fully editable!

    Author: Rachel Duim. Great job. The font faces support Unicode (UTF-16) and I've posted an example of the symbols and diacritics you can use. Both the Mac and Windows version can't enter Unicode in the text field of the Text component. Can this be fixed... please pleeease! Currently I have to cut and paste these characters to get them in FF14.
