Author: StevieJ. BTW.... After base images are rendered.....which come out in gradiented greyscale matt.....I put the images through further filtration to add color, relief embossing, etc.....and viola.....art!!! ;) :)

I'll post the filter to share soon, (that's the point of this community after all!) there's just a few things yet to do:
1. Add support for alpha so that you can insert embossed text or motif
2. Add support for transparent background plate for filigree overlays
3. Slider control for Metallicity effect, so it can be turned down to create 'flat' wall and floor designs as well as embossed work

Author: StevieJ. I think the flakes stand out nicely against that color......and really goes with the theme. My first thoughts go to it being used for that high-priced fancy 5th Avenue wrapping paper with the flakes embossed on it 8)

Oh, yeah, no. :( I thought you meant "Bevel and Emboss", which relies on a Distance Transform , which is, as far as I know, impossible in a sample-based architecture, it essentially uses very similar math to the Gaussian Blur component; Hence the need for a pixel-based Script component.

Not a bevel emboss, but from one of my filters that uses a similar multi-directional motion blur method.....
