I don't object to anyones views, my sole intent is to try to help people keep a clear perspective as to what the reality is regarding this situation, because people seem to be getting hung up over persieved copyright violations without clearly understanding how copyright works.
I have been in the graphic design industry for about three decades now and have a fair bit of experience in these matters which I try to share.
You use words like "stealing" ...
Regarding Watermarks
... or showing some filter results that can be possible.

Author: Kraellin. ok, i'm at a loss here. i dont see the detraction. i make a filter. i can keep it private and use it to make art or other graphic work. nobody else ever sees the filter and any works i make with it are copyrighted by me. period.
if i upload the filter, i am saying here, this is a tool you can use to make your own works. any works you make with this are copyrighted by YOU, not me. and in the case of a TEXTURE preset, which is a more fixed type image ...

and here's the jist of the problem: FF wants/needs authors.
FF wants/needs end users.
authors want HU's (as compensation for their work) and want credit for their work.
end users dont want to be hassled with copyright this and copyright that and for the most part dont make filters, they use them.
so, FF has a conflict. authors have a conflict and end users have a conflict (at least in the proposed new eula).

License of generated images?
... recognized many filter presets from exported images I've seen over the web. Many of them are being sold as you mention. But I wanted to be sure and that's why I asked.
I completely understand that filters themselves and the node structure behind them are copyrighted. But the image exports seem to be a bit of a grey area. I think the official statement is that as long as long as the export is modified anything goes. But then, what does modified mean? Changing a color? Rotating the output? Turning it Black ...
How will EULA effect usage?

That would certainly work to protect them.....but I'm just pushing for the EULA to allow authors the ability to "blanket protect" copyrights to all straight texture filter results.....as the simplest way to justify and set up my crazy idea for FF to get into royalty-based texture pack sales (textures sold with restriction-free copyrights).....and create a continuous author incentive ...

Second, I think FF needs to "clearly" give authors copyright protection on filter construction and texture presets..... In addition to all the other reasons that I have stated here for doing it, FF doesn't want to waste a dime on taking any action against filter copyright infringement.....so it would ...

... Then you'll try to hide behind legaleese.
If I had your ethics, I could set up a competing shop, render all the same filters only newer and better, and lower the price... (See, you can't hit a 'randomize' button on a default filter, and then claim copyright to the image that comes out of it. I can see on your website that you are trying to claim copyright to the images, but really anyone having same software and same filters can come up with same images.
You don't mind ripping off someone else,...

FF is in a unique postions here with legal stuff. normal copyright law says you cant sell derivative work, at least not without permission. at least one game company sued a group that made a mod based on their game and won. the group was selling it commercially. being a derivative work off the original game ...

Question #2.....Can I also add to the description that high-res prints of the works are for sale by contacting me directly.....including buying image copyrights.....and that I offer other digital fine artworks along with custom creation.....like a "plug" to sell my artworks and art services???
