To use google AutoHotkey and download version 1 and install it. Once installed make a new text file, paste the following code into it, save and close the text file. Then change the text file extension from .txt to .ahk and you'll be able to run it.

I definitely encourage to use it as a part of new filter constructions, that is the primary reason I made it. FF can be used to make great text effects, but there hasn't been any painless ways to even get a proper preview made of such. So I hope this helps in adding text to those filters you wished had them and coming up with whole new text-based filters.

... This is an old filter from 2006 that applies very interesting artistic effects to the right image. The description doesn't seem to fit what the filter does - I can't figure out what it has to do with a postcard, and it doesn't do anything unusual to text. The description says
"This filter will turn a simple text on any background - even white - to a sophisticated post card. Or add some shapes and a double colored font."
I wish the author were still around to comment :)

Although of course that your idea and suggestion would be much better than these three above, and you could be able to importa real text using the grids for FF to recognize the text, BUT if FF 4.0 support text will be even easier and better.

Just a comment: you need to update your Djekki profile and type in your "User Tittle" filed the text "Filter Forge, Inc.", so users get sure that "Djekki" is from FF team. ;0) Of course it doesn't mean too much once anyone can edit "User Tittle" and pretend that is from FF team. The forum should have some icon or text ...

Well I have found that in this editor you CAN´T go wrong deleting or adding text, or do not have to care to keep all in the same line, and do not have to go searching and hunting for the text needed to be modified and all is made in a WYSIWYG way

that's a great gesture. i've read several posts in the forums from folks that have FF installed on one computer, but not the one they use to connect to the internet. it might be a good thing to add a filter text file download to the normal download area so that others could download the files without having to use FF and they could then just put the text files on a disk and move them to their other computer. might save some posts and work in the long run....

There are some methods that already exsist for dealing with text..Thou I haven't thought about it in a while I am sure there are different ways to do the same thing..These are not the only filters thou..Check the library....
