    ... the filter itself contains a line that tells FF which editor version created the filter, so if your FF2 sees a line that says "This filter was created in the editor of FF3" it doesn't even try loading the filter. That is why I try to make my filters in FF2, so it will be FF2 compatible. Then I can open the filter in FF3 and save it as a FF3 filter if I have to.
