The Switch component is used as a selector – it outputs one of its Source inputs depending on the value of the Selector input. This is a map component, it can be located in the Processing category on the Components Bar. This component can output HDR colors.
Source 1, Source 2, ..., Source 12: Map Inputs (HDR)
These inputs provide the colors or images one of which will be sent to the component's output. These inputs can accept HDR colors.
Specifies which of the source inputs goes to the output. For example, if Selector value is 3 then the color or image supplied by the Source 3 input will be sent to the output. When a map component is connected to this input, the number of sides is determined separately for different image areas by the HDR brightness level of the image supplied by that component. The number is calculated as the brightness level rounded to the nearest integer: the brightness level of 0 to 0.5 corresponds to the Sides value of 1, the level of 0.5 to 1.5 to the value of 2, 1.5 to 2.5 to the third item etc. Out-of-range values are clipped, which corresponds to the last item of the list.
