Alexandria, VA, March 18, 2013 – Filter Forge, Inc. today released the second beta test stage of Filter Forge 4.0, a high-end plugin for Adobe Photoshop allowing computer artists to generate textures, create visual effects, enhance photos, and process images. The second beta stage introduces support for loop operations, modifies behavior and appearance of the IntSlider component and fixes multiple bugs. The highlight of this beta is the support for loops and recursions providing new ways to create textures and effects that were impossible to achieve in previous Filter Forge versions. The new Loop component lets you render a subtree of components multiple times, changing them from iteration to iteration, and combine results of all these renders into a single output image. Other changes in the new beta affect the IntSlider component: it no longer auto-adjusts its range according to the target input, it now has a convenient spinner wheel and a new parameter in the IntSlider-to-IntSlider remapper. The beta version is available at http://www.filterforge.com/download/beta4/. The beta is a fully functional 30-day trial version of the Filter Forge 4.0 Professional edition. All registered Filter Forge users can get a free beta key that allows them to use the beta version until the end of the beta period. Users who find and report bugs will be rewarded with free copies of Filter Forge, which will be granted after Filter Forge 4.0 becomes commercially available. The commercial version is planned for release later this year. About Filter Forge, Inc: Based in Alexandria, VA, Filter Forge, Inc. is a one-product company solely focused on developing Filter Forge.
