Tallinn, Estonia, February 28, 2024 — After a successful beta test, Filter Forge OÜ, Inc. announced the final release of its new software product, Ultraforge — a high-end node-based AI-powered environment for image generation and processing. The key features of Ultraforge include GPU support, Text-to-Image and Image-to-Image functionality based on Stable Diffusion, AI image upscaling and numerous nodes for visual programming. The key feature of Ultraforge is automatic image generation and alteration based on Stable Diffusion AI algorithms. The Text-to-Image node takes a text prompt (can be constructed programmatically) and outputs a bitmap corresponding to that prompt. On the other hand, the Image-to-Image node takes an image and a text prompt and alters the source image based on the prompt. Results produced by the base Stable Diffusion model can be further improved by using custom checkpoints and LoRA modules. Another major Ultraforge feature is AI image upscalers that can resize a smaller image without losing quality. Unlike traditional upscaling methods that rely on simple interpolation techniques without adding any additional detail, resulting in blurry and pixelated images, AI upscalers produce a more accurate and visually appealing result. Ultraforge offers two upscaler nodes: RRDBNET and SRFormer: the first one offers simpler and faster results while the latter one is more memory demanding but produces higher-quality results. Both nodes increase the source image dimensions by 4, so a 512x512 source image processed by an upscaler will produce a 2048x2048 result. Ultraforge's rendering engine takes full advantage of modern video cards. Image generation usually takes a few seconds and rarely exceeds half a minute. The only limit for image generation and processing is the amount of video memory available to the program — the more memory, the larger image Ultraforge can generate.
