Description
Create top-down views of trees. Sel ect fr om three different styles: a maple-like shape, an oval leaf, and a coniferous tree. The first two leaf styles can be elongated to represent multiple styles of tree.Adjust the leaf size and density, the diameter and irregularity of the crown, the number and reach of spreading branches, and the number of main branches off of the tree trunk (visible when leaves are sparse).While these aren't modeling real trees, the end results are good enough for, say, illustrated maps and plan views of digitial landscapes.The coniferous tree (leaf style 3) can be a bit slow because of the number of polygons used to create the pine needle effect.
