I am tinkering with improvements for version 2 such as an improvement in the branch generator (this is working nicely, and creates a more varied, realistic look), a bare tree option, "clumping" of leaves at low densities, and some other visual improvements. Of course, balancing some of those against filter performance is difficult as it can be a real minefield. Some changes that seem simple and easy cause some startling performance hits.

I also hope to fix some performance issues, particular in the coniferous style which is due in part to some bad design decisions. I may actually pull that out into a separate filter, e.g. "Tree Tops: Coniferous", since it needs its own set of controls.
