Description
The idea is to be able to isolate a particular color or range of colors. There are three ways to do this in this filter, by hue, by lightness and by saturation.Hue is the easiest and should be tried first. But, lightness probably works better when you want to isolate blacks and whites. Saturation I rarely use, but does have a use now and then.Because what you want to isolate often has a similar color somewhere else in the picture, I've included a way to somewhat isolote geographically, just one given area. The controls for this are at the bottom of the control list. It's easiest when using these to turn the saturation selector and saturation range selector up so that you can see most of your image, isolate your area and then turn the saturation controls down again.If you go into the editor, you can also see that I've included the base isolation routine, separate from the main filter, just in case you want to experiment.
