I am trying to modify the Jigsaw Puzzle filter by Inujima to remove the border and make the edges seamless so when tiled, it looks like its all one continuous puzzle.

I have tried messing with the filter for a while now but almost everything I try breaks it. I am relatively familiar with the editor but this filter is a bit too complex for me.

Does anyone have experience with this filter and can show me what to modify to get it working? Or is it even possible?

Well, if the seamless tiling checkbox is disabled, most probably is because in the filter has been used some components that makes this incompatible with seamless tiling, or the author of the filter has disabled the seamless tiling.

But I think that most probably is that have used some incompatible components as you can see here below

Seamless Tiling Help

If the filter uses one of more of this Non-Seamless Components then is not possible to convert the filter to seamless unless you replace or delete these components.

from the Non seamless components page

non-seamless components include Scale, Rotate, Free Gradient, Free Ellipse, Free Polygon and Free Rectangle.

Any filter that uses non-seamless components will have the Seamless Tiling checkbox disabled

The Seamless Tiling checkbox may be enabled if the filter author force-enabled it in the Overrides dialog, or if all non-seamless components in the filter are plugged into so-called 'seamlessizer inputs' (see the link above for more information)

Although I have not seen if it possible to convert the inujima filter as it may include some incompatible seamless component as I said in the above post here

I have found another two puzzle filter that work with seamless tiling

Piece It Together by Redcap

Puzzle me this by ThreeDee

Both have missing tiles too, although not in the same way as the inujima filter

Huh didn't see those ones. I still like the results of the inujima one better but i think i can work with these. Thanks!

And yep, I saw some nodes that arent supported for seamless but from what I can tell, it has mostly to do with the square frame so I thought I may be able to just remove them but im not experienced enough with the editor to get it working properly.

I am still interested if someone is familiar with this filter enough to tell me if its possible though =-)

Yes, I agree and also think that the Inujima´s filter is the best one and I prefer it too also

Scale
Rotate
Free Gradient
Free Ellipse
Free Polygon
Free Rectangle

please, if you can tell me where are located those incompatible components, I could maybe help. put a screenshot of the part of the filter wh ere these components can be found

Well geez, don't i feel foolish. After looking again I see none as well. Originally I saw The map script and extract nodes that make the frame and just assumed the nodes around it were the ones not compatible without even really checking... =-(

I did, however, get the frame removed by changing the slider of the Map Script, but the pieces were still not quite lining up so I disconnected this chunk (attached) and they now line up but are too uniform and dont have the unique warp to each piece.

Any ideas of how to modify this part to get it lining up but still distort?
