Some Filter Forge components don’t support seamless tiling by design. Examples of non-seamless components include Scale, Rotate, Free Gradient, Free Ellipse, Free Polygon and Free Rectangle.

Any filter that uses non-seamless components will have the Seamless Tiling checkbox disabled. However, there are two exceptions to this rule. The Seamless Tiling checkbox may be enabled if the filter author force-enabled it in the Overrides dialog, or if all non-seamless components in the filter are plugged into so-called 'seamlessizer inputs' – that is, the inputs that can accept non-seamless images without ruining the seamlessness of the result. Examples of these 'seamlessizer' inputs include the Source input of the Kaleidoscope component, the Particle inputs of the Bomber and Bomber (HDR) components, and the Color inputs of the Ellipse and Polygon components.
