Hi, One of the very useful features bomber plus may be that it now can handle unlimited amount of images input
But the problem I see is that is not explained how do you use more than 10 input images with bomber plus? Because you have to use the Map Switch and it only has 10 input and in bomber plus there is only one input so you can only connect one map switch. In the normal bomber I have seen that if you want to have more than 5 images you can use two bombers and blend the result So Is it that you have to use 10 images for each bomber plus and then blend the result? I mean if you have 20 images, you would use 2 bomber plus with each one having a map switch. And so multiply the number of bomber plus and map switch for the number of images you may need, or divide the number of images by groups of ten Although I think that having more than 20 images would not be interesting as you are forced to load each image one by one into each color control, so it can be a very boring and tedious thing as I have already put here Be able to batch load multiple images from a folder into Bomber Plus? |

When FF5.0 came out, I joked about how SpaceRay's gonna want a 100 input bomber given how he kinda loves bombing images with a gajillion pictures at once. But either way it's possible.
Here's the real basic understanding: you nest the map switch in a map switch. In other words, connect a bunch of map-switches to another one. I attached a screenshot with a quick example. There are two map switches which is where to ins ert all the images in to, and then there's the one that chooses between the two. By doing this you can easily see how you have have as many inputs as you want. This means you can make 100s of inputs or even 1000s very quickly via copy and paste. I don't know who in the world would want that but there was a time when we kinda dreamed about it. ![]() |

Hi Lexart, Skybase has already made a filter for 100 images, as he already said, I wanted to use 100 images from one image I have found on internet, you can find the image and filter on this thread
New bomber + multi images - Would be possible to make this example?
Well this can be done if you want, but it may be better depending of what you want to use only one bomber plus and attach nested a Map Switch to another Map Switch as suggested well by Skybase
Yes, it was funny ![]() |

Thanks Skybase for explaining it well and how it may work, and with the screenshot, now I understand it, I did not know that you can nest a map switch into another map switch and did not know either that you have done already a filter with this topic already
So now this way brings much more possible ways to use bomber but the problem is that if you have lots of input you will not be able to use it easily Thanks also SpaceRay for the link of the other thread, I have not seen it and did not know that you have already posted about this. |

Yes, exactly. The issue with loading a gajillion images is still one of those annoying things we're gonna have to deal with.
Maybe a python script that does this might help :/ I don't even know lol. I think one of the main reasons why I don't even bother with multi-image bombers is because we don't have batch image loaders. We kinda have this way of loading images via grid system but its honestly a pain to even set one up. Not sure how else. |

Well I have no idea of scripting or coding, and also do not even know if this may be possible in some way for others that already have done some utilities and tools to be used with FF
Yes, I agree, and I think the same, and is bad to use multi-image bomber plus if you are forced to load them one by one manually, and should be already available some kind of batch image loader in some way integrated in FF 5 as complement to the new "infinite" images of bomber plus I agree that the actual and available way to load images is a real pain if you want to use it for more than 10 or 20 images and this is why put this thread Be able to batch load multiple images from a folder into Bomber Plus? How has FF team developers did not think about this when they have been developing the new bomber plus? |

Would be really possible to use a python script, well the only thing I know about python is that is not a serpent, is a programming language, this as far as I know of it ![]() ![]() I agree with you that the main reason not bother about this supposed new multi-images feature, is that they forgot to make batch image loaders, totally agree with you and is a great pity that did not care abut this very important point |

Good news, it seems that finally there may be a possible way to load multiple images in a more easy way thanks to the work of FFcreator that have made a useful tool to help, following the great idea of SpaceRay
Here is the direct link to the post that shows this Found a possible way to "batch" load multiple images in bomber plus Also on the same thread, on the next post, Skybase has told that he also found a new way to load images dynamically |
