very cool... love that indentation in the sand
but shouldn't the pebbles be a bit wet as well? |

Nice one, but the sand could use some good roughness/noise, IMHO -- wet sand isn't THAT smooth. And the stones could use some different colors...

yup, i agree with the others; it needs some grain in the sand part. but still, very cool. the dryer ones actually look more real.

Well thank you for the feedback! Yes I realised almost as soon as I'd posted it, that the sand was way (wayy) too plasticky. I'll update that and probably repost the update tomorrow. It really does need some fine grain and some "saltiness"
Just don't ask me to procedurally generate conch shells ![]() Thanks again all for the feedback ![]() -RH |

I like! It has a very nice illustrative look that would work great for backgrounds! The others make a good point with the need for more texture in the sand, but you are on to something good! Keep up the great work! ^_^

Good work! The only improvement I'd suggest is to add some sandiness to the sand areas -- currently they look too uniform. Look at Crapadilla's excellent Sands of Time to get the idea:
http://www.filterforge.com/filters/2074.html You can also vary the reflectivity of the sand areas to make them look more 'sandy' ![]() |

I think the texture and preset color is perfect replace the pebbles with carrots and corn and you know what youve got dead on ![]() nice filter I like lets all whine for a wine port |
