I was always fixated on Offset iterating and somehow it never occurred to me that including Rotate in the loop could be so fantastic.

I can't thank you enough for that enlightenment! I'm still blown away that just a few steps further along there are some unbelievable fluids, erosion and fractals using that knowledge. smile:loveff:

Thats always been one of the cool things about FF from the beginning...Add one component in the filters tree and then suddenly you have lots of other things to play with.. smile;) smile:)

You are welcome.. smile:) ..For more fun try masking out parts of the gradients attached to the rotate....Or changing the colors on the gradients..(a little at a time on those).... smile:)

Btw, these images used a completely flat source. In the case of the last two the 'standard' FF images.
Fwiw, all 4 are using a 25 AA pass, the precise smudging, and light, bump, coloring, and shadows don't use the 'surface result'.

Less than 3 minutes! smile8)

But I'm still looking forward to the GPU enhanced FF. smile:D
