those are just cool, steve. did some of those come about as a result of working on nebulae? cause, i can see that if you diffused some of those and reduced the opacity, they'd make pretty good gas clouds.

Believe it or not, there is no refraction used in any of that glass.....it's all profile gradient and curve work.....

A quick experiment towards some HDRI reflection art.....

Hmmmmmm.....I almost have what I want.....flat HDRI mirror panaels with glass borders like in the upper right hand corner.....but have to do some more isolation work to get all the edges like that.....

i like that first of the last three best. nice sort of abstract shattered window. the chrome frame one is cool, too.

Btw: It looks like you have a lot of blended mid-tone 'valleys' on those. You might want to check out some of the complexity you can get out of using the high pass at 100 trick (which I learned from one of Kochubey's filters). I will.....just give me a little time to do some more refining on them.....I'm also trying to clean up all my LU filters at the same time.....my total filter count has been slowly but surely dropping each week.....combining and improving them for re-submission under a new name for a clean usage slate.....

Yes......and thanks for that!!! I haven't forgotten about creating realistic cracks, tree forms, lightning, etc.....that's a challenging problem that I would like to find a solution to as well.....
