Impressive! I love how the trees correspond with other elements of the map.

Nice work, Sjeiti!
Did you create the rolled-up scroll at the bottom in FF as well? --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

Yeah that rolled-up scroll was a filter too (I think), but it was more than a year ago so I don't remember exactly how much of that was edited in a bitmap program afterwards. All in all I think I used about ten filters for this project, four of which are online.
ps: Crapadilla, you'll probably notice three of your filters in there. I didn't forget to add them; I accidentally hit return while adding them causing a submit. I sent FF an email with the data and Bella replied I should just re-submit it. But I haven't had time for that yet. (it would be nice to have a step in between to check the submission before actually doing so, that- or the possibility to edit the gallery submission afterwards) -edit- I just re-submitted |

I love the landscape and clouds.....but the parchment doesn't seem to go with it, IMHO. I think the parchment would work if the landscape and clouds were converted over to the parchment "style".....but that's just me.....

We've added the filters you mentioned to your gallery work. Please check: http://www.filterforge.com/gallery/9.html Space... it seems to go on and on forever. But then you get to the end and a gorilla starts throwing barrels at you. |

Yep... those are the ones...
Well actually, when I made it, the page itself had a dark wooden background. But since I completed my part of the project there were a lot of changes (some not for the better). As to the parchment style you mention: since the map can be zoomed and panned it would not do to embed (filter) the parchment style into the bitmaps, it would have to be displaced realtime and that would cost a lot of processor power (which is pretty intense as it is). |
