Cant download filters- says I'm not connected to internet when I am

Hi!

I have been loving FF2 smile:D but today cant download filters because it says I am not connected to internet when I acutally am. Worked fine yesterday. Even when I go to the enable cookies page, still says the same thing. I have winxp and the only difference since yesterday was a windows upd ate that occured when I turned off my computer.

Can I somehow configure internet se ttings from within FF? Or is there any other way to fix? smile:?:

Any advice greatly appreciated...

Is it FF (FilterForge) or FF (FireFox) that says "Not connected to internet"?

I'm sorry- I meant filter forge in the above message. I only have the browsers Internet Explorer and Google Chrome- both latest versions and it worked ok yesterday. When I try to download the filter, filter forge opens up and the "connecting to server" shows, then after a minute or two instead of the filter downloading, it says "can not connect to server, make sure you are connected to the internet".

I'm getting the same thing right now, in 1.0, must be a server boo boo.

same here.. no way to dl new filters.. or check for updates.. get the error that i am not connected to the internet .. using ver2
