JoJo, although that is useful, that's not what we're going for. We want to be able to control the blur radius using an image or texture generated from Filter Forge.
Uber, if you haven't used it already, try out my filter: Gradual Blur. It has a switch plugged into an invert-buffer, so you can just replace the input map for blur easily. Roses are #FF0000
Violets are #0000FF All my base are belong to you. |

I have done a radial blur script. Should be possible copy it into another filter and use it as a component.
