Setting to turn randomization on/off for each setting:
What often happens is that I find a nice combination, and just want variations around that. Different noise, or different opacity, or what have you. In particular I do NOT want to randomize all my colors. (For some reason it always seems like they end up purple! ![]() The UI for this could appear simply as a little 'lock' button to the left of the setting. Like photoshop. (See image) An alternative would be a toggle in the near the randomize settings which says 'Don't Randomize Colors'. But I think a toggle on each setting is a better structure. ![]() |

this has already been mentioned for wish list before, but i do like your implementation of the little lock.
also, whereas you cant lock or unlock individual sliders, you do have some control over randomization. click the little box to the right of 'next variation' and you'll see. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I thought that this suggestion that can be seen in this thread here was from 2009 but now seeing this other thread here I know it has been suggested already before in 2008!!
It´s true that FF threatened to ban you if you keep with this ??? ![]() Well this was in 2008, and you are still here in 2011 ![]() |
