So, I use FF for 3d textures. The normal map render map in particular was a HUGE selling point for me.

However, using it, I wish there was a way to render to disk all the appropriate maps in one fell swoop, and not map by map, by hand. I just want to select a folder, pick the maps, and have it render them. That way you can do it in large quantities, and save on all the repetition. (Something like the interface for Vue 6 infinite's multi-channel rendering, maybe.)

Also, along the same lines, it would be good to be able to give your files proper naming conventions. If you're making a lot of textures, it's a hassle to hand-name everything. I'd much rather be able to name a folder, tell it that bump maps always get an "_b", spec maps always get a "_s" suffix, etc. and just let it render out. (Pshop's batch rename filter is pretty good UI-wise.)

Anyway, great program!

No worries, the more people that politely suggest things (repeatedly, and from different people requesting those same things), the more likely that it gets put in V2. smile:D
