Don't know why but seemed like someone might find this useful for testing purposes

![]() I am sorry I do not understand it well. I do not think that this is possible without modifying the filter, but would be interested to know what this is about specially coming from you ![]() |

Oh no, someone is digging up my dumb old threads. Perhaps a cry for attention?
![]() Anyway back to the topic; FF comes with a number of 600x600 built in images to play around with. My idea was too have an additional one that was say 720x480 for testing your filter on non-square images. |

Sorry I was searching for information in the forum for how to convert a filter to non-square images and found this.
Good idea to suggest to put as built-in images non-square ones |

What filter are you trying to convert?

Well, is not just one, there are many, for example I can put this Speedliner Lv2 , in this instead I would like that it could make an elipse effect and not only just circular, as is already possible in the well done Radial Acrylic by Indigo Ray ![]() |

Replace all gradients with the free gradients...That was the number one thing that makes them work for only square images...This were created before the Free Gradient exsisted..

THanks for the advice, BUT went to the filter editor and do not know WHICH gradients should I replace with the FREE Gradient. When you say "Replace ALL gradients" do you mean any kind of gradient component ? But this can´t be possible and is not the same a profile gradient than a Noise gradient or 3 or 5 colors gradients. |

you can replace a noise or colour gradient with a free gradient thusly:
take an elevation gradient, plug a black and white free gradient into elevation and the noise or colour gradient into gradient. Release the Mongoose! |
