Roni has been in love with photography for over 45 years. She organized the Long Island Photography meetup from 2007 till 2017, and she teaches people to take photos and use Photoshop. She loves to shoot just everything and anything.

– When and how did you start your way in photography?
I started with my first SLR in 1975. I have just continued to master my photography. I am advanced in Photoshop and have done tutoring for this. In Photoshop, I teach people to work with layers and create personal watermarks. It is mostly a Photoshop 101 class.
– When and why did you add Filter Forge into your workflow? How do you usually use it? What are your favorite filters?
I started using Filter Forge several years ago to create new images. I use it to give some of my photos a creative look. Among my favorite Creative filters are Polygon Painting and Engraving. Favorite Distortions are Twirl, Wave, and Bad Trip.

– Have you ever tried to make your filters? If yes, which ones?
I have not tried to make my filters. Still learning the ones that are in the program.
