As Uberzev seems to be back now, I wanted to make a thread with a collection of all his amazing, innovative, original, clever, useful, interesting, awesome and great filter works that are NOT published and available in the official FF online library, and is really a pity that all these are lost in the forum, and is not easy to find them.
I will keep adding threads as I find them This thread is to give a Thanks very much to uberzev for having made all these things and that I love and like much. All these filters belong to uberzev, so please do not use to make them available in the FF library without the authorization of uberzev. In all these links to the threads the filter is available somewhere through the thread, and is better to begin from the end of the thread as there can be more advanced, fixed or optimized filters, so do not use just the first one you find. All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration

I thought to make this thread so other people could know and find easily the great and well done filters that uberzev have done and they are too good to be lost in the sea of threads of the forum, so I have rescued them and put them all here in a organized way.
Yes, you have already all this threads with all of these images already BUT how much time does it take to be able to find them ? they are all mixed with many others threads and is not a selection of the best ones. AND this is NOT a collection of images, the main topic of this thread is the collection of filters and the images are only there to show what the filter can do, as I thought that putting just and only the name of the filter would not be helpful and you should go to the page to see it so it would be more difficult. |

Spaceray, thanks for the links to these awesome filters.
One of the ones that you were playing with "Cuberism mapped updated" on this page has controls that I didn't see in the others giving the ability to zoom images on the sides of the cube. But there's a problem in the side left and side right cube faces; they're flipped, i.e., if you put text in those faces, it's backwards. I tried poking under the hood to try to figure out how to unflip them but since I'm no programmer (but am trying to learn how to make little changes to filters) I couldn't figure it out. How can those faces be unflipped? Thanks! |

Grosvenor, there are several nodes that deal with the orientation of the images. The first two "flip" are the ones responsible for fixing orientation but you can remove or just uncheck "flip x" attributes. (I'm not responsible for making the filters, I'd consult Uberzev for further details.)
Hopefully I'm on the same page with you. SpaceRay, I'm just poking you around because I see you post stuff up on a daily basis. Sure, it's the same here but you post 10x the magnitude of what I typically leave behind. haha. Forgive me, sometimes your posting habits detracts me from reading other posts properly. These days I just kinda look at them and think "oh lol one of those posts again" haha.   |

Thanks for your response Skybase. I had actually already tried what you suggested on the left and right faces (the bird and fish above, which are the ones off, not the life preserver, which is fine). Unchecking the boxes made the image disappear, not flip.

After more hunting and pecking without knowing what I was doing, I fixed it! Yay! I'm sure I'll never be on the par with you guys who make these amazing filters, but to just be able to learn to tweak them is such a help.

I forgot to say something about this collection of filters, not all of them are finished in the same way as the ones from the online library, or have all the needed controls, and does not include either many presets.
Glad that you like them and find them useful and awesome, same like me. In the ©uberism filters there are many variations and different ways, you can try the variations, although some of them are unfinished |

OH! OH! the star and main author of all this amazing, useful, and great beauties of filters have appeared in this thread! Sure that, "that uberzev guy", is prolific and have been able to make such a innovative, original, cool, amazing, different, and unusual FF filters and have gone beyond and away from the usual and "normal" standard of filter making
And of course also ""that uberzev guy" has been very kind to SHARE all this filters in the forum and I thanks him very much for all his works and the time taken to make them and I admire the knowledge and skills he has to be able to make all this things. And reclusive? More reclusive than me? I do not have any friends or girlfriend, and never go out to parties, or go out for fun, or go with someone to a bar or restaurant, or to the beach, I only go sometimes alone to the cinema or the park, or to the supermarket, although I am not at all agoraphobic. I only have a digital life.
YES! It has been a long time since the last time that, "that uberzev guy" has been away and have not kept offering his wit and original works here, I wish and hope that he wake up and continue been filter forging and offer us kindly some of his great ideas in the near future. |
