For compatibility with previous versions of Filter Forge, the Library can also be accessed via the built-in Filter Library Browser. To activate it, select the option named Use the built-in library browser (obsolete) on the Online tab of the Options dialog. After that, the library link in the upper right corner of the Main Window is replaced with a button Download More Filters... which opens the built-in browser.
New filters and updates to existing filters can be submitted to the Filter Library via the Submit Wizard. Only user-created filters (those located in the Custom Filters category, usually My Filters) can be submitted. The submitted filters are subject to editorial review and approval.
To quickly locate the .ffxml file corresponding to the selected filter, choose Filter > Locate File from the Main Window menu, or press Ctrl+L⌘+L. This will open Windows ExplorerFinder for the folderdirectory where Filter Forge stores its data files, and the .ffxml file corresponding to the current filter will be highlighted.
